Soon after my return from Saudi Arabia, I briefly owned and flew an Aerochute.

I reluctantly sold this craft, as I was having problems with places to launch from. There are a growing number of these machines in and around Australia. Great fun and very useful for things other than pleasure flying.

Aerochute Facts:-

1. In the USA, Aerochutes were used to locate debris from the shuttle break up, owing to their low and slow flight profiles and their short field landing/take off techniques.

2. The Indonesian Air Force have a squadron of Aerochutes.
